# Scheduler

The scheduler engine automates `start_datetime`/`end_datetime` management for a basket offer. Instead of setting dates manually, you attach a `scheduler` object that drives the offer's active windows based on cron expressions, explicit inclusion windows, or a combination of both.

> **Note:** This document currently covers only the scheduler feature. Full basket offer field documentation (conditions, benefits, voucher codes, etc.) will be added in future revisions.
