The system enforces consistent URL formatting *(Source: Static System Configuration)*:

* **Leading Slash**: All paths automatically receive a leading `/` if missing
* **Trailing Slash**: When enabled system-wide, paths automatically receive a trailing `/`
* Query parameters are preserved and normalized during resolution
